Home Visits

Doctor's bagIf possible please try to telephone reception before 10:30 if you require a home visit.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.

ambulanceNon-Emergency Patient Transport

From 1st September 2016 the procedure for booking Non-Emergency Patient transport to attend appointments has changed.

Instead of requesting transport via the surgery patients who think they may be eligible for patient transport, and are registered with a GP in the Cambridge and Peterborough area should contact a new call centre by ringing:

0845 6038117

Lines are open; Monday – Sunday 8am – 6.30pm

Before a booking is made you will be asked some short questions to check if you are eligible – if you are eligible the call centre will arrange the transport for you.

Please don’t book more than 3 months in advance, or less than 48-hours ahead of your appointment.
